The Christian Playcare Center is based on the following principles:
  • The importance of Bible and nature study as a foundation for mental, physical, social and spiritual development during the early years.
  • The importance of developing the child's total potential.
  • Cooperation between the parents and teachers in the child's development.
  • The importance of healthful living habits.
     
The Christian Playcare Center is owned by the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists and is operated by Spokane Junior Academy.

The Daycare Center is licensed by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. We are licensed for children ages 1 year through 6 years of age. License number 862052.

   All staff are fully trained in CPR, First Aid and HIV/AIDS Education. We are trained in Food Handling through the Health Department and with Washington State STARS classes. ALL employees must pass a criminal background check in order to work at the center.
