The goals of my classroom focus on three areas:
Spiritual Growth, Academic Pursuit, and Character
Development. |
| |
| Each student is
encouraged to develop a relationship with God, not just
intellectual knowledge about God. Our classroom
discussions highlight God’s love and grace for
humanity. I promote a Creator and Savior who accepts and
forgives us - no matter what. My desire for each student
is that they become personally involved with making
Jesus the guiding part of their lives. |
| |
| “Academic
Pursuit” is a general term, but it means students
becoming involved with the teaching/learning
process. They can not be passive, expecting knowledge to
just ooze into them. Each student must become engaged
and actively work to become educated, to add to his or
her body of knowledge. |
| |
| "Character
Development" is an essential part of becoming
educated. Students are expected to be responsible for
their school work and their behavior. Personal
accountability in everything a student does is
required. How we conduct ourselves at school represents
how we operate our lives. Students are taught how to
treat one another in a positive and respectful manner. |
